arOka is officially open! Yes our first full day was this past Saturday April 23rd. The boutique is certainly one of a kind so it's important I clarify what to expect. We specialize in two unique areas:
1. Vintage decor and furniture rentals. We have hundreds of unique decor items in multiple quantities to create a one of a kind event! We stock harvest tables, antique ice cream chairs, vanities, theatre seats, architectural items, and so much more! Don't see what your looking for? Chances are we have it in our storage facility or know exactly where to get it.
2. Vintage attire & accessories sales. I love the glamour days of the past and work hard to find beautiful, well cared for wedding and formal dresses! We also carry purses, gloves, hats, jewelry and vanity items like perfume bottles and jewelry boxes. The dresses and accessories are for sale not rent but we do offer a unique buy back option on select pieces. See us in store for more details.We also buy and consign items that compliment the boutique so if you have a fabulous decor item or gorgeous vintage dress please contact us! We schedule appointments in store or you can email us with details and photos.
Store hours are also unique...we are only open to the public 4 days a week. Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays noon to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 4pm. We reserve Tuesdays for private appointments for dress fittings, large decor orders and consignment items. Wednesdays and Sundays we are closed, spending time with family and or sourcing more amazing pieces. If you are unable to visit us during the above hours please contact us. We strive to ensure every client has the opportunity to experience our unique space and are willing make certain exceptions.
We are currently working hard to tag every item in the boutique and because we do it old school... hand stamping and hand written... it takes time. If you come across something that has no information please ask. We are passionate about the vintage items we carry and are always happy to answer any questions you may have!
